Gurdeep S. Nanua

As a Founding Partner at Nanua & Ioffe, Gurdeep (Gary) S. Nanua has spent nearly two decades helping injured individuals and their families navigate some of the most difficult periods of their lives. With extensive litigation experience before courts and tribunals, he is a trusted advocate known for combining strong legal representation with a practical, client-focused approach.

His practice focuses primarily on personal injury litigation, including accident benefits, tort, and negligence claims. He also represents clients in employment law and commercial litigation matters, providing effective solutions tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.

Over the course of his career, Gary has represented clients at mediations, pre-trial conferences, hearings, and trials. He understands that legal disputes often carry significant personal, financial, and emotional consequences, and believes that effective advocacy begins with understanding a client’s goals, and developing a strategy that reflects their individual needs.

Gary earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto before obtaining both his Law Degree and Master of Laws. He graduated at the top of his class in both programs and was actively involved in community legal initiatives throughout his academic career, reflecting a longstanding commitment to service and access to justice. He is also a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association.
